It is all down hill from here! Get ready for the BIG PUSH!!!

As the 3 Quarter comes to a close and we push forward toward the end of the school year, our goal for the fourth quarter needs to be focusing on Graduation and course completion. With only a couple of months left before summer vacation, it is important to make a big push to complete as many courses as you can before the end of the school year ends on MAY 31st! Work hard, have fun and remember to always be safe. Good luck Mustangs!

End of 3rd Quarter is upon us!!!!

We have finished 3/4th of the school year. Only one more quarter to go. Yes, I know, I know, I used a fraction. What can I say, I taught math for several years, I love fractions. Beside, with the MATH AIMS test coming up April 10th, we need to practice.

Students are working hard on finishing up their classes here at the end of the quarter. We need a big push for the end of the school year with classes as well, especially with Graduation right around the corner. Our Graduation date is May 23rd, 2012 at the Tempe Center for the Arts.

Spring Break starts this after this week. And FRIDAY March 9th, will be a half day. (Spring Break - March 12th - March 23rd) All students are to return on March 26th.

Let's have a great end of the year!!!

As we close out the semseter and 2011!

Only a few weeks to go until the end of the Second Quarter and the end of our first Semester. Our students are working hard to finish up their classes before the end of the semester. Also, the yearbook students are off to a great start and our population is growing. I am very proud of our students, parents and staff!

It has been a great semester and I am glad to be part of it!

Welcome Back to the start of Quarter 2!

On Monday we welcomed back our students for our second quarter. Next week we have AIMS testing on October 25th,26th,and 27th. The school day schedule will be shortened for the test. All students will be required to attend from 8am to 10am on those three days. Students required to take the test will have to stay after 10am to do so.

The first week of November, 11/3, our students will be taking a field trip to GateWay Community College for a career day. All students attending will have to be here at 8am.

Only Two Weeks left in 1st Quarter!

The next two weeks we will be wrapping up the 1st Quarter here at BHS. We have already started to schedule Parent/Teacher conferences for the first week of October. If you have not done so, please get with your homeroom teacher.

Next week we will have two drawings for prizes. First, on Monday, during our break we will have a chip and salsa party and the drawing will be for a USB 4GB Flash Drive. And finally, on Friday, we are having school pictures, our Pizza party to celebrate the end of the Quarter and the drawing for an IPOD Shuffle, $30 Visa Gift Card and two tickets to Harkins Theaters. Exciting times here at BHS!

Half way thru the Quarter!

Now that August is over, we have completed 4.5 weeks of the the first quarter. This means we only have 4.5 weeeks left befor Fall Break! (Oct. 3-14th) and the end of the first Quarter.

Students are doing a good job of keeping up on their courses!! Great work! Keep it up.

This Friday is Spriit Day! (9/2/11). Everyone who wears their BHS t-shirt will get a surprise!

Week 4 starts!!!

We just started our fourth week of school... so we are moving along. This week we meet with seniors for the first time to talk about senior pictures, yearbook and how to plan for graduation. Fun stuff. I know, it is just August, but it is never too early to start planning for graduation. Have a great week.
