Professional Background:
I have been working with students for over twenty years in many different roles. For the past ten years I worked in Arizona as an Administrator for the Gilbert Public Schools and for the Scottsdale Unified School District as an Assistant Principal. Before that, I worked in the Chicago Public Schools for four years teaching math and started in Administration at a second chance alternative night school.  I also worked at an alternative high school in the suburbs of Chicago for a three years teaching math.  Before that I spent five years at a residential treatment facility/ Group home working with Department of Corrections and inner city kids helping them transition from jail back to their homes.  So, I have had a very well-rounded experience in education and working with students and their families.

Professional Background:
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Arizona State University and my Master of Arts in Education/Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I hold a certification in Guidance Counseling for grades Pre-K thru 12.

Prior to working at Blueprint High School, I worked as a College Academic Advisor and a Case Manager for Maricopa County's SMI population.

Professional Background:
I have a BBA in Management from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master’s in Education from the University of Wilmington. For six years, I’ve been teaching grades 7-12 in Social Studies and Mathematics, and was lucky enough to coach junior high basketball and varsity football for three years.

Professional:
After retiring from a 20-year career in public education three years ago, I promptly began working for Blueprint Education, where daily I have the extraordinary opportunity to learn along with my students.

 I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Arizona State University, and am certified in Spanish Bilingual Education (grades K-12) and English (grades 7-12). I taught in public schools for two decades in the Casa Grande Elementary School District and Chandler Unified School District.

I have resided in Arizona for the last 13 years, and prior to that, I lived in Minnesota for more years than I care to count. I received my Elementary Education and Special Education degrees in Minnesota and have taught special education for many years in the public, private, and charter schools. I also instruct at college levels and enjoy teaching teachers!
